This year's "Cans for Kids" Fundraiser came to an end last Friday.  THANK YOU to everyone who donated to make this fundraiser a success!  The total we will be donating to KVC is $6,832.48! 

 

As students prepare for the 2024–25 school year, KVC wants to ensure that each child in their care is fully prepared when they return to school in the fall.  The money donated will buy school supplies for children in foster care.  They money we raised will buy school supplies for approximately 273 students!

 

 

 

We have one host family and are still looking for two (2) more host families for the school year.  Please seriously consider being a host family and ask your family and friends if they would like to be a part of this wonderful experience.

We will be grilling hamburgers and selling spinach related food along with the Lenexa Historical Society

 

Phil Hammond will be sending around sign-ups

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We will be grilling about 1,000 hot dogs and giving them away to the public along with chips and water

 

Ashley Sherard will be looking for volunteers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our own Marshall Rimann will be performing in an upcoming play at The White Theater at the Jewish Community Center.  It is called The Tree of Life and it will run September 14-22.  CLICK HERE for more information and to purchase tickets.
