Pitch Lenexa

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Pitch Lenexa is proud to host a series of free, independent community events during the 2026 World Cup. This initiative—organized by a coalition of eight Lenexa based companies, which includes Lenexa Rotary —is designed to bring people together, introduce the broader Kansas City community to Lenexa, and celebrate one of the world’s most iconic sporting events in an unforgettable way.

The event series will take place at Lenexa City Center, a vibrant 200-acre hub, conveniently located along Interstate 435 and sitting within a few miles of where I-35, I-435, U.S. 69, K-10 and K-7 meet. This exciting and walkable neighborhood combines shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues, offices, living options and hotels.  For more information CLICK HERE or contact Phil Hammond.

WANTED - Egg Cartons

From Steve Nettles . . .

The Village Church Food Pantry (where my wife volunteers) is in need of empty egg cartons for the foreseeable future.  If you have some laying around please bring them to the Friday meetings and I will pick them up.

Lenexa Art Fair

THANK YOU Phil Hammond for organizing this event and to everyone who came out to help at the Rotary beverage tent last week at the Lenexa Art Fair.

Our Club and the Johnson County Rotary split $3,553.04 - which gave us each $1,776.52.  Lenexa Rotary also received an additional $233.01 for leftover wine and beer from ShrimpFest giving us a total of $2,009.53!
