VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

September 23, 2023

8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Location to be determined
Lunch provided

We are partnering with the Shawnee Rotary Club for a ramp building event.  If you are interested in volunteering for this project please contact Greg Peterson.  This is a very rewarding experience that enables older adults and people with disabilities in the Kansas City Metro area live in safe, accessible and healthy homes. You don't need to be a master craftsman to volunteer, you just need to be able to work. A ramp gives hope to those who didn't have hope before receiving a ramp.

Spinach Festival-Recap

Thanks so much for all the help on making this year a big success! Thanks to Rotary and the SMNW Interact for all the men and women power. Thank you to Vincent with Maps for the donation of coffee and our Members for their donation of time. We grossed $4,974 this year for the Lenexa Historical Society.  That is a $1,300 increase over last year. We netted close to $3,900, a $900 increase.

Corporate donors: Genesh, Inc - Burger King, Wingert Liquors, Maps Coffee and Chocolate, and Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria and Susanne Neely.
