On Friday August 19, Jeff Chalk, Executive Director of The 3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County spoke to the club about their efforts to provide the youth of our community with a quality baseball experience. It's a program that creates a quality environment that promotes sportsmanship, instruction and teamwork. We salute the efforts of all of those involved with 3&2 Baseball.

Also, Andy Wingert, member of the Sunset Rotary Club, was honored by the Lenexa Rotary Board of Directors with a Paul Harris Fellowship. This honor was in appreciation of his long time support of the charities and activities of the Lenexa Rotary Club. Thank you, Andy!

Johnna Lingle, former Lenexa Rotarian, Lenexa Mayor and Johnson County Commissioner, has passed away. Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 25, 6pm, at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr, Shawnee, KS. View full obituary.

We also learned that Patricia Olney's husband, Roger, passed away in June. Pat is a former Lenexa Rotarian. She and her husband were married almost 50 years before he died of cancer. Please keep Pat and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
