Our speaker this Friday will be Hannah Eddins with Johnson County Home Delivered Heals.
The Area Agency on Aging provides home-delivered meals to homebound residents, ages 60 and older, and their spouses.
Staff and volunteers deliver meals between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Meals are planned to meet the nutritional needs of older adults. Diabetic meals are available.
At last Friday's meeting, our speaker was fellow Rotarian (Olathe Noon Club) and Johnson County Commissioner Mike Ashcraft. Mike (pictured right) presented Club President Steve Adams with a "JoCo United" scarf
Pitch Lenexa is proud to host a series of free, independent community events during the 2026 World Cup. This initiative—organized by a coalition of eight Lenexa based companies, which includes Lenexa Rotary —is designed to bring people together, introduce the broader Kansas City community to Lenexa, and celebrate one of the world’s most iconic sporting events in an unforgettable way.
The event series will take place at Lenexa City Center, a vibrant 200-acre hub, conveniently located along Interstate 435 and sitting within a few miles of where I-35, I-435, U.S. 69, K-10 and K-7 meet. This exciting and walkable neighborhood combines shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues, offices, living options and hotels.

Monday afternoon, members of the Lenexa Rotary Club presented a $1000 donation to Heart to Heart International and filled/packed 500 hygiene kits for disaster relief.
President Steve received an email from Lakeview catering with some concerns regarding our Friday lunches.
Please remind the members to NOT enter the kitchen. The kitchen is an employee only area - there are wet floors, a lot of people working and moving quickly and is a liability if non-employees enter.
Members should NOT remove the chafing lids as they are hot and they could burn themselves. When all the food is out, the staff will remove the chafing lids to let you know the buffet is open.
Some members have requested soda with their lunch. Soda is NOT included in the price of our meal.
