This Friday our speaker will be Kathy Cook, Executive Director of String Sprouts KC.

Specifically designed for underserved children ages 3 - 9 String Sprouts KC is a FREE music education program created to support school readiness.  Students are provided their very own violin or cello. The revolutionary curriculum uses researched-based techniques to build a foundation for future academic success through 32 weekly group violin lessons annually for 5 years.   Caregivers are involved each week in our after school classes, learning parenting tools that help support their Sprout both academically and emotionally through their musical journey.

In addition to our after school classes, Sprouts K.C. provides in-school class lessons, twice each week at Kansas City Public Schools.q

ShrimpFest 2024

March 16, 2024

Tickets:  As you know, each member is required to purchase or sell AT LEAST 5 tickets.  If you have not picked up your tickets, Tedd Maxfield will be getting them to you.  In years past, each member needed to purchase or sell 10 tickets, but because of the smaller venue, this year it is only 5 tickets.

Desserts:  Each member is required to bring at least one dessert to ShrimpFest.  If you have any questions, please see Amy Ruo.

We need all hands on deck for this event.  This event is important for our club to raise the money we use to support all of our good works. It is a major way we put service above self.

I look forward to seeing you Friday!
