Donate to The Rotary Foundation
The end of the Rotary year is June 30th. Lenexa Rotary has been recognized as a "Star Club" for the past several years. To become a Star Club, our club needs to average a donation of $100 per member to The Rotary Foundation. Members that want to make their annual $100 contribution to The Rotary Foundation can do so by either giving a check to Phil Hammond at our meetings or donate online at www.rotary.org. Phil will bring an updated list of where each member stands as to their next level of Paul Harris Fellow.
Installation of New Member - Mike Dix
This Friday, Lenexa Rotary will be installing another new member, Michael Dix. Michael grew up in south central Kansas. He attended both the University of Kansas and Southwestern College as an undergraduate. After graduating in 1969 from UMKC with a DDS, he served in the Army for two years. He returned to Kansas City and established a dental practice in Overland Park where he worked for 38 years. After selling his practice, he retired in October 2015. He and his wife, Kris, have lived in Lenexa for 14 years. His daughter lives in Prairie Village and his son in New Orleans. He was a backyard neighbor of Moe Cougher for many years.
Let's all welcome Mike to Lenexa Rotary! We look forward to working along side you on many projects!
