What is/was your job or profession?
I am the Assistant City Manager for the City. I have been with the organization for 14 years. I started as an analyst in the Community Development department and have been in my current role for five years. I oversee Public Works, the City Clerk’s office, economic development, the Lenexa Public Market, as well as state and federal legislative advocacy
What is your favorite sports team(s) and why?
I am a lifelong K-Stater and alum, so the Cats are my team. I am a Royals fan forever, even if they’re bad - and Sporting KC for that matter. I have adopted the Pittsburgh Steelers as my NFL team. I married into a family of fans. And since it’s World Cup time, of course I root for America on the pitch
What is your favorite vacation destination, and why?
Any place that slow-paced with a good dive bar that features live music
What is your ideal sandwich?
The Italian beef from Pizza Man in Lenexa. If you haven’t tried it, you need to. Get a chilidog on the side, you won’t be disappointed
