Occupation (or former): Licensed Funeral Director and Crematory Operator at the Amos Family Funeral Home.
Tell us about your family: I have lived with my partner, Claire Chase for the past 13 years. My son, Anthony, and my 4 year-old granddaughter, live in Florida. Anthony is a graduate of LeCordon Bleu in Paris and was a chef for many years. He left the very demanding restaurant business and now builds high-end boats. When did you join Rotary: 2010 Why did you join Rotary: Being new to the area I thought that it would be a great opportunity to meet people, and serve our community. What Rotary offices have you held: Vice president, President-elect, President, and President of the Lenexa Rotary Foundation. What is your favorite Rotary memory or project? Without a doubt, ShrimpFest! I have been a cook at the annual event since joining the club.
When you are not working, how do you spend your time? I enjoy playing my guitars, playing golf, and, in the summer, tending my vegetable garden.
