One daughter, Leigh, married to Kevin Day. 2 grandchildren, Taryn 17, and Carson 14 When did you join Rotary: I joined Crookston, Minnesota club in 1977. Moved to Lenexa in 1980. Joined Lenexa Rotary Club in 1986. Shishir Doctor was President of the club. Why did you join Rotary: I outgrew the Jaycees and was looking for a service club. I didn't realize then what an adventure I was embarking on. What Rotary offices have you held: Club Youth Exchange Officer, District Youth Exchange Chair, President 1993-1994, District Governor 2002-2003 What is your favorite Rotary memory or project? So many great memories! Great youth exchange students - having dinner with the Rotary International President when he was in Kansas City - the year I was District Governor - Rotary conventions - Rotary work trips When you are not working, how do you spend your time? I volunteer 2-3 times a week at Hillcrest Thrift Store, my church, HopeBuilders and Happy Bottoms. I also sit on the Board of Woodland Charity |
