Nov. 2 - Dec. 4

Coats for Kids starts Monday!  Click on the following link to sign up to help  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0e49acae2aa2f49-coats

Rotarians from across Johnson County are volunteering to collect coats to be distributed to children at Johnson County Christmas Bureau and school districts in Kansas City, and Kansas City, Missouri.

KMBZ's Coats for Kids is a community outreach campaign to collect new and used coats for Kansas City area children in need.  Community partners include Price Chopper, Pride Cleaners, Arrow Fabricare and Excel Lenin Supply, who clean every used coat.  Two Men and A Truck provides trucks and drivers, delivering coats to kids at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau, and school districts on both sides of the state line.  A significant cash donation from Honeywell of Kansas City is matched by KMBZ listeners during the final two weeks of the program to purchase new coats.

Notes from the "YPad"

Evelyn Hornaday wrote on the YPad that she want to attend the Foundation Banquet on November 14th.

Additionally, a member wrote down an idea for a speaker -- Speaker from the City of Lenexa talking about I-35/95th Street improvements.

During the meeting if you think of some thing that you want to share, feel free to jot it down on the YPad -- a random thought, a suggestion, a compliment, an idea for a speaker, a joke, etc.  Each week President Amy will pick up the YPads and report any messages in the newsletter and at the following meeting.
