Great news! The Lenexa Club applied for two District grants and was awarded them both! The first was a $1,000 grant for Johnson County Christmas Bureau, and the other grant was $906 for the District-level Stop Hunger Now packaging event, which will be held in conjunction with the annual district conference next May. Stay tuned! 

October is Fire Prevention Month, and the Lenexa Fire Department Safety Trailer is on the move! They will be visiting seven Lenexa elementary schools between October 4-18, and we will again be providing behind-the-scenes support services.  We are creating two volunteer shifts – 9:00-11:30am and 11:30am-2:00pm – during which one (1) Rotary volunteer is needed (so 14 volunteer slots total for us to fill.)  As in the past, you are more than welcome to work more than one shift!
