UPDATE ShrimpFest & Bingo March 1, 2025 Old Town Community Center A Word from Chair, Steve Adams 10 days to go and it looks like the weather is going to cooperate for our 2025 Shrimpfest! Thank you to everybody who has stepped up to make this another success. Remember we need everybody's help. If you already have a task that night, great, if not please be there to help in any of the various positions that will need to be filled. Without everybody's help we could not pull this off. Again, Thank You, Tickets Committee Chairs - Tedd Maxfield & Pat Thomas Bottom line - Pat Thomas needs your ShrimpFest ticket money by THIS FRIDAY, February 21 Why? ShrimpFest is now only 10 days away and we need your help!!! Pat has to prepay most of our ShrimpFest expenses and, interestingly, our vendors will not provide shrimp, chicken, salad/sides, table and chair rental, fees, etc. based on our promise to pay. To keep our club's account in the black, we must have receipts for the 10 tickets ($300) you were issued no later than Friday's meeting...even if you are still selling tickets. Tickets can also be purchased online Go to our website www.lenexarotary.org and there is a link to purchase tickets in the ShrimpFest article Desserts Committee Chair - Amy Ruo Each member is required to bring TWO (2) Desserts to ShrimpFest. Cakes - Pies - Cupcakes - Brownies - Cookies - Gluten Free items. Please drop them off after NOON on Saturday, March 1st. |
