This Friday is the last Rotary meeting of 2015. You will not want to miss entertainment by the Shawnee Mission Northwest Chamber Singers under the direction of Scot Schwartz. They will be singing holiday songs to get us in the holiday spirit.

THANK YOU to Greg and Vickie Peterson for opening their home once again for our annual holiday party. There were about 50 in attendance and a good time was had by all.
Stop Hunger Now - Beer Can Collection
The money is all in and the grand total is . . . . . . . $4,475.79! That exceeds what we collected last year. Because of everyone's generous donations we will be packing 15,500 meals for Stop Hunger Now. MARK YOUR CALENDAR -- the date is January 26, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at Shawnee Mission Northwest.
ShrimpFest 2016 - March 5th
ShrimpFest is 3 months away! J.C. Burcham is the Chair and planning is underway. Phil Hammond is beginning to contact companies for sponsorships.

During the meeting if you think of some thing that you want to share, feel free to jot it down on the YPad -- a random thought, a suggestion, a compliment, an idea for a speaker, a joke, etc. Each week President Amy will pick up the YPads and report any messages in the newsletter and at the following meeting.

Summary of Last Week's Meeting:
Our speaker was Mark Irvin from SITE -- Social Impact Technology Engineering. SITE is a new 501(c)3 which helps at risk teens in the inner city become educated in the manufacturing industry. Manufacturing companies around the metropolitan area open their doors for the students to make them aware of advancements in manufacturing technology.
Food service line opens at 11:45 a.m. For those who have business pressure they can arrive at 11:40 a.m. starting with salad, eat at 11:45 a.m. and be gone by 11:50 a.m. and still record for attendance. As you leave, be sure to check with the Secretary to ensure your attendance is recorded.
