Six of our members attended Tuesday's District meeting on inclusion. Inclusion of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, etc. A major take-away is for clubs to look at their policies, practices and culture to determine where they can do better which should help attract and retain members. Along these lines, you may be interested in knowing that the Club and Foundation Board approved participating in a Global Grant which will provide water to the Navajo Nation. The Global Grant committee is also in conversation with the Shawnee Indian Tribe researching collaborative opportunities.
