Last Sunday, President Elect Lenet Compton and her husband, Bob, took Doctor and Rotarian Salahuddin Shah around Kansas City to see the sites. President Matt and Lenet met Dr. Shah at Rotary District Conference and gave him a ride from Topeka to where he was staying on the Plaza. Dr. Shah is a doctor of hematology and has a long list of accomplishments in the medical field as well as in Rotary. Dr. Shah is visiting for three months from Bangladesh sharing knowledge at St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza.
It was a joy to learn about Bangladesh as well as show off our great city to a visiting Rotarian. Lenet says "I am continually blessed at the many ways Rotary helps me learn first hand about people in other parts of the world. It really makes you feel peace is possible."
