THANK YOU to everyone who helped sell beer/wine/drinks last weekend at the Great Lenexa BBQ Contest. A BIG THANK YOU to Phil Hammond for organizing the event.
It seems that we didn't take any pictures, but as Tedd Maxfield said:
"I took some mental pictures. I close my eyes and I see Wayne organizing beverages, Nathalie popping caps of beer bottles, John freaking out change, and Amy serving customers faster than the cashiers at the QT.
Our shift was LIGHTENING fast!"
Here is Phil's re-cap of the weekend:
"The numbers are in. We grossed more money, $8,399 as compared to last year, $7,071. We were down in tips, this year $624 as compared to last year $1,310. All costs of products were up on an average double digits. Only increased the Tank price from 9.00 to 10.00. We paid large increase tax and fees to Kansas Liquor (10% of gross Liq Sales) and the City (10% of NOI), tax on non Liq were about the same. We had very little Liq inventory left this year.
Both Clubs will net $2,624 each."
