Rise Against Hunger-Update

THANK YOU to all of you who came out to package meals on Tuesday, November 14th.  We had Lenexa Rotary members, and members from Western Johnson County, Shawnee and Johnson County Rotary.  We also had members of the Shawnee Mission Northwest Interact Club, Girl Scouts and also Kohl's employees!  Total we had about 250 volunteers!

 

We packaged 25,000 meals in under an hour!  Thank you to Lenexa Rotary members who contributed through the Beer Can collection (Thank you Fred Spears).
