Shawnee Rotary - The Sleep in Heavenly Peace building bunk beds for children in our community was very successful! Thanks to the help of Steve Nettles, Matt Janes and Jim Blaufuss for working side by side with Shawnee Rotarians, friends and family on Saturday, May 1st. Approximately 20 bunk beds were prepped and ready to go to homes of children who have not had a bed to sleep in.
The sun was shining, drills were pressing, sanders sanding, saws throwing saw dust everywhere and stain beautifying the final pieces. It takes a village and thank you for your help!
