World Polio Day
Please join the Rotarians of District 5710 on Wednesday, October 24 at 11:30 a.m. for the World Polio Day Event at the State Capitol -- All are Welcome!
All will gather on the South Steps of the Capitol to celebrate Rotary's commitment to ending Polio forever! October 24th is the day that Rotarians will let the community know that we are "this close!"
The event will include:
- Remarks from Polio Survivors
- Information about Rotary's involvement with Polio by the Chair, Jim Arnett
- A World Polio Day Proclamation
- A "Walk to End Polio" in front of the Capitol
- Tours of the Capitol and Dome
