This Friday . . .

This Friday, our speaker will be Laura Harsch with Shawnee Mission Education Foundation. Laura is the Business to Education Program Officer. The Shawnee Mission Education Foundation’s Mission is to advance scholarship and leadership, to enable all Shawnee Mission students to achieve their potential. We believe all students deserve equitable access to education including academics, leadership, and social and emotional learning. Individuals of all abilities and experiences can achieve personal excellence.

Through a strong partnership with the District, the Foundation provides countless opportunities for our students. We believe the entire community contributes to an extraordinary education for all students.

SMNW Interact Club

Last Friday we had Kathy Clark, the teacher sponsor for the SMNW Interact Club at our meeting along with some of the members of Interact who are going on the trip to Puerto Rico later in June. We are so impressed by this group.

If you would like to donate to the SMNW Interact for this trip, you can do so by scanning this QR code and donating to our club. Or you can make out a check payable to Lenexa Rotary Foundation. When you make out a check, please write "Interact" on the memo line. Please seriously consider donating to this energetic group of Interactors.

June 30th Meeting at Park University

We are trying something new!

In June there are 5 Fridays in the month. On the 5th Friday we will be having our meeting at Park University - City Center Campus.

You will need to bring your lunch -- stop into the Lenexa Public Market before noon and pick up your lunch. Then come up to the 2nd floor to the Park University offices. We will be meeting in a large room. You can eat your lunch before and during our meeting!
