Feed the Hungry

Lenexa Rotarians:

 

At last Friday's meeting we had a discussion about applying previously collected and unused Meals Funds to assist local charities' efforts to "Feed the Hungry" in our local area. If  the majority of club members concur, the Meals Account will transfer the funds to the Lenexa Rotary Foundation (LRF) for selection of appropriate charities and disbursement. At this point our Meals Account can support an amount not to exceed $2500. Those attending last week's meeting that voted,  voted unanimously to do so. Unless I hear differently from those of you who have not yet voted, the Board will vote to transfer the $2500 to the LRF at the December Board meeting.
